Tacoma Auto Repair

We live in Portland but broke down in Tacoma on a Saturday afternoon. We were stranded until we could (try) to get into a repair shop. Monday morning comes around and I call 8 auto shops that’s told us it would be 3-5 days to get the car in and another week to work on it. When I got ahold of Bristows I spoke with Josh Davila and he instantly jumped into action to help us. He told us if we could get towed in he’d order the part and they could try to squeeze us in in their busy schedule. We got it dropped off around noon and by 5 they had it fixed and ready to go. They were full of business and pretty booked but they empathized with us being broke down and really did us a huge favor and did great work. I highly recommend this repair shop and was thankful to work with all the great people they have employed there. Also big ups to the owner Pete who was so communicative about what we needed to watch for and get done in the future. All around made a not so great experience a little bit better.

Even though they weren’t able to resolve my issues with my Lamborghini Gallardo, they were still very professional and respectful to their customers. Pete, the owner, and Josh were great!

Top shelf service. I am very pleased with Bristow's work performed on my Alfa Romeo 164. Quality of customer service is excellent as was the mechanical repair. They were fast, efficient, clean, affordable and super nice to work with. I recommend them highly. I have never had better service with any vehicle we have owned. We gladly make the trip from Everett to have Pete's crew perform services in Tacoma. Special thanks to Beau and Josh, our Alfa drives great again now, thanks guys!

They know what they're doing and don't overcharge or find things that don't need to be fixed.

I am very pleased with the results and quality of their work. They were in the middle of some staff transitions that resulted in some delays, but they acknowledged that and were more than fair with me. This will be my “home” shop for my baby-1978 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I highly recommend them. Mahalo.
